despite all the injustices, and hate and history of otracities committed for money and power... we come to Taropatch to embrace culture, beauty, friendship, and perhaps a slice of peace...
to exchange ideas and knowledge...shape and discover new friends, and sometimes vent a little steam....
whether we are of Hawaiian linneage or not... The beauty of this place and of it's history, music, language and culture are a hint of the possibility of paradise...respect for all lands of the earth, the air, the water, the trees and natural things...and with a little luck and some prayers...people. even if imperfect and rumpled.... A peaceful artful seeking warrior is at peace. The world has infinite anger and problems...and we have infinite ability to counter any of these with acts of kindness..like the hands of something greater than our ego.
Anger is a rip-tide...swim out at an angle...we all have some...so on I swim. Maybe I'll ebay it.

AMEN, TO THAT! Respect is a very powerful word, especially when it is practiced. As long as we are respectful of others beliefs there can be peace. |
What? You mean high "E" is the TOP string. No way dude! That changes everything! |

Thanks for the retort. I seem to have a bunch of unanswered, and probaby problematic posts that invite non-response. Anyway, There was a silly little book called, "The Lazy Man's guide to Enlightenment"... and it was an easy read, of course! It claimed that the best way to deal with situations and people who were in various states of stress, or other difficult vibration levels, was to resonate and act on the level of Aloha. Well, he didn't say Aloha...but the gist was that, after awhile, any party that wanted to work on a level of "challenge" would eventually shift to the higher level of love, because it was just too uncomfortable when someone else operates on the Aloha principal... There has been some very hearfelt and difficult, ill-structured problems being worked thorugh lately...both here and other places on this earth...
So sure it's a little out there...But just in case it has some merit, I'm attempting to work on a higher level, sans wine.
