I will be going out to San Francisco from syracuse N.Y to visit family from 7/25 to 8/1 anything going on during this time.

I am sure there is SOMETHING going on, but I don't have my calendar in
front of me at the moment.

You can check theses two sites for happenings:

And of course there is the Open Mic in Santa Clara (2nd Tuesday of Month)

And probably a kanikapila in Hayward at the Donut shop, and another one in Vacaville during that time.
