I was wondering if there were any interest in a slack-key kanikapila in the southcentral Alaska area (Anchorage, Palmer, Wasilla, etc).

I know there are few ki'hoalu players scattered around, but we seem to be few and far between.

Earl! Get with Karl Monetti. He's only a couple of hundred miles or so from you! At least it'l give you something to trade e-mail about.

I know them both very well. Karl is seven hour drive away in Fairbanks, and Susan is a five hour drive plus a ferry ride. That's sort of like having a kanikapila based out of San Francisco, hoping for attendance from both LA and Reno.

But thanks for the thoughts. I was fishing to see if anyone within an hour's drive or so was hovering out there.

Hi Julie. We missed you at AMC last month.
