For anyone who hasn't caught it, Dusty and Sheila's kani ka pila will be on Sunday, 3/4 at 1:00.

If we are talking about 2007 Sunday is March 4th and not the 5th?

Mahalo nui loa to Dusty and Sheila for being such fine and welcoming hosts at their retreat high in the hills. Driving through the live oaks and up through the citrus trees was neat.
And seeing everyone was great fun, and we even got to meet more folks. Let's see, who was there? Welcome to Lori Bulat and her beautiful singing with her slack key playing (take note, Feoli); and with her friend Jan. Maybe he will play next time too. Good to see Jerry and Diana down from Cowtown with friends Kathy and Bob (?). Yay, Rik and Donna came, and good to see Haunani, Uncle David and Barbara; Terry, too bad Mary's sick, hope she gets well very soon. This has been a hard winter for cold, colds and flu here in SoCal. Mike, that koa Taylor is going to be unattended one of these days.... Nice that Dick and Linda were able to find their way; hopefully Linda will share some pix here. Rik was taking some also. It's been so long since we'd seen Sandy and Ralph; it was good to see you both. T-Dan! thanks for driving further than I drive! Love your music! Of course, I lover everyone's music.
The ukulele players joined out on the patio to play and sing until it got windy and cold.
And, as advertised, the sunset over the ocean with Catalina Island clearly visable was a real treat... and my camera was safely forgotten at home... aargh!
Once again, mahalo nui to all. See you soon! And don't forget to get tix to Led's concert in Whittier if you don't have them already.
