Well, it's hard for me to believe, but I'm just about to turn sixty-five years old. Whew!! How did that happen?
And I can't think of a better way to celebrate this milestone than to share Hawaiian music with wonderful Taropatch friends, old and new.
So. . . you're all invited to a kanikapila at my house on Sunday, March 18, 2007 from 1:00pm to whenevahs. If you haven't been here before, please email me for directions.
Please, no gifts. Your presence is all the present I could desire.
Of course, I you'd like to bring some ono grinds, that's different - you might also want to bring some copies of your favorite music to share around the kani circle.

Well, if Allan is going to drive all the way to your house (all 3 miles!) . . . I'll do the same, except my drive is a bit longer. Aunty Cathe, was the last time we jammed at the Aloha Festival in August? Boy, that's way too long ago. I'm looking forward to seeing everyone.

Eh Howzit Auntie !
A very Happy Birthday from Marybeth and I ! Wish we could be down there today to kani with you. The fog has lifted on the Mendocino Coast, so I'm sure it's gonna be an awesome day in Mill Valley. Still have lots of fond memories of the night we jammed at Susan's house in Caspar! Next time we see you, we've got a bottle of that lovely Lehmann Semillon for you !

I would have done anything to be there today....
So sorry. Have my hands full with some unpleasant things, but my thoughts were with you on this very special birthday.
So my favorite memory of you will always be that hot day on Maui when you just had enough of it all and propelled yourself to the little pool and flew in with all your clothes on!!!! Some of us will never grow old, huh?
