What strings do I need to swap places? Do I need to reverse the order on all the strings, or just the two middle ones? Thanks!

You'll need to reverse all the strings, I think. The nut and saddle will probably need adjustment too. Intonation may be off too due to the saddle?
Although I had a lefty friend in college who learned to play on our righty guitars as is. Not easy but his chords seemed to work. |

First off, just swap all four strings and retune. In some string sets, the top and bottom are the same size, others have slight differences between them. Go to http://www.ukuleleworld.com/uw_tune.html for help tuning. The largest string, the third from the bottom, may have trouble squeezing into the slot on the nut (by the headstock). Maybe not. The second string from the bottom may buzz in the larger nut slot left by the third string. Maybe not. If it plays okay in reverse order, great! If not, ask a guitar repair technician to cut a new nut or modify the one that's there. Either way, your new uke will be a great addition to your family. Jesse Tinsley
