E kala mai, I'm no sound techie in any way, but I wanted to pass this on- I've played a few gigs (and my sons, too) down at Gazos Creek where Curtis Turner has a sound system with Merkaball Loudspeakers by Omnipresent Sound. They're cylindrical speakers that have an amazing presence and warmth, and the system requires no monitors and never has feed back. We've had up to eight of us playing with one or two speakers, and the sound is exquisite. The whole system costs under $2,000.
