Has anyone ever heard of Favilla Ukulele ? My Dad's friend is giving it to his grand daughter . I'm replacing one of the strings for him. It looks very old , like a Martin Uke from the old days. It sounds good too . It has a Coast , Los Angeles sticker on the back of the headstock. Probably from the store it was purchased . Anyone know how much it is worth ? Just curious ......mahalo

I looked up the Favilla uke on the internet ...comparing it to the pictures, it is probably a soprano U2 model 1930 to 1940 . Didn't get a price on how much it is worth.

The Favillas are nice old instruments. They don't go for the prices that the old vintage Martins or Gibsons might, but they are great players. If you do a search you can find some info on various sites.
