I am proud today, that I sent my 12yr old granddaughter home with Ozzies book. She has an interest in performing arts; acting, singing, and recently guitar.
After her dad bought her a 3/4 size guitar, and she seemed to like it, I could'nt resist. I lasted only two months before passing on my thoughts about fingerstyle guitar vs strumming and giving her an intro to slack key.
Now I have to wait and see what happens.
I hope she goes with it.

Don't forget to have her play for you and you in turn play for her. I picked up tunes from my Grandpa that way.
