Aloha,

For those in the Bay Area who may not know of it, I wanted to mention Na Leo Nahenahe A Hawai`ian chorus.

I've been going for a mere two or three months, off and on and enjoy it.

Here's what we're working on currently:

Ke Ali`i Hulu Mamo
Ku`u Pua I Paoakalani
Hawai`ian National Anthem
Kamehameha Waltz
Ho`ola Lahui Hawai`i

Kuhio Bay/Akaka Falls
Hawai`i Aloha



Here's a little more about it:

Hawai`ian choral music in the tradition of the Kamehameha Schools.

Monday 7:30 - 9 PM
Bethany United Methodist Church
1268 Sanchez St., at Clipper in San Francisco, near or in Noe Valley

Rehearsals every Monday. New members always welcomed.

No auditions needed!

Previous choral experience or ability to speak Hawai`ian are NOT required.

I'll see if I can't record some of the chorus and post a file or two after our performance.
Yeah, I've met some great folks there, with one uncle wanting to maybe do a duet or trio with uke, for fun.

It's funny thing with music; I find myself saying "YES" alot!
