Aloha Bill, It is going to be airing in Hawai'i too? I was just wondering since I couldn't be at Kalama Days. I would like to see a short airing about it. Thanks.

Anyone can catch the show as it airs, live on the internet, at www.scantv.org - be sure to tune in for the live stream; it's at 7:30 - 8:00 pm Pacific Time (4:30 - 5:00 Hawai`i Time.) I'll be on tonight as well, talking story about the event, and (if the equipment is working right) we'll have a sampling of Momi's massive plate-o-photos to show; a mini-plate, as it were. |

For me, the audio was not clear at all, but the pictures came out nice (just opposite of your transmission, Iwa). Is there a way to adjust the way the program is streamed in to my computer? Mahalo to Gregg and Napua for a nice recap of the weekend's events. Kurt, I haven't found a place where it's archived, but maybe you could email Bill Nahalea to find out. - M |

Nope, not archived anywhere (other than the videotape I made at home, or Bill's own aircheck) - it's community-access (a/k/a no budget) TV, you know. Don't know why the stream works different for different computers, but I'm sure it's not a particularly high-tech feed.
But here's a couple thoughts: there are plans to issue a commemorative CD/DVD of highlights from the event (by year's end, it is hoped); Bill has posted elsewhere about that, and will keep us updated. Also, maybe I can get someone to YouTube the photo slideshow - someone particularly proficient at that could drop me an e-mail?
Edit: Momi say "aye." |
