Tia Carrere & Daniel Ho -- doing Hi`ilawe. A most interesting rendition; not typical at all. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=dNOd1LQBh3k

Na Palapalai singing Hi`ilawe and Kumu Hula Frank Kawaikapuokalani Hewett dancing. His Hi`ilawe is certainly different from any I have heretofore seen danced. The contrast between kane and wahine versions of this hula are very interesting. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=7YU8KXaHRL4

An instrumental version of Hi`ilawe on `ukulele. Pretty darn swell.

And here is a non-musical viedo of an `ulili bird catching a fish. She is going holoholo. Now I really understand the song about `ulili running around... http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=HV4VsSZWMgo

Kinda makes you feel sorry for the fish. But I'm sure the Ulili was sayin "Broke da beak, brah!!"

Here is a video of a group singing Wahine Ilikea and some ladies dancing hula. Interesting take on the song, regular kind of drums used in it. Not sure about the hula...some of the hand movements appear to be quite different from other ways I have seen this danced. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=kX9dI9RCOpc
