I am the new proud owner of Keola's 1977 slack key instruction book. Appearantly it was the first book ever published for slack key. It was on e-bay and I got it for only 14.50. By the price, it appears that no one was real serious about owning it. I was! If I could only find a cheap Grimes guitar!
Great book, but that version wasn't the first...Keola published the original version in 1973. The 1977 version is more professional and the contents are slightly different. Plus it includes the record insert.
