It is with much sorrow and permission from the Robert Kam `ohana, that I relay that Anona Kam passed away peacefully on Tuesday morning, August 29th. All of us in the South Bay, who have attended the monthly Open Mic, know that the show does not start without the Kams. Many of us have had the good fortune to Kani Ka Pila with Robert and his son Rob at the Kam's hale, and grew to love Anona and her beautiful presence.

Her gift of sweet `Awapuhi melemele grows proudly in my back yard.

Mahalo Auntie

Dave

I'm so sorry to hear the sad news about Aunty Anona. Our thoughts and prayers go out to Uncle Robert, Rob, and the rest of the Kam 'ohana. They are a wonderful family.

I too am sorry about Auntie.

I do not remember meeting her, but if Robert senior is an example, she must have been a very nice person indeed.

My deepest sympathies to the Kam ohana. It's always a pleasure and joy to hear Uncle and Rob's contribution to the Open Mic sessions.

Oh, I'm so sorry to read about the Kam family's loss. My thoughts are with them at this time. I have so appreciated the gift of music they've shared with us over many months.
