Justin,

Check around here. By that, I mean, look at that page and the ones before and after it.

Dusty, I took a workshop with George Kahumoku at few years back where I met a few of Southern California slack key players. My Ohana in San Diego, Halau Hula O Leilani, sponsored that Celebration of Aloha. It seems as though I am the only slack key player down here in Florida and I am looking forward to my trip to San Diego the week of Oct 1. I would very much like to meet a few of you SCSKS'ers at the open mic in Oceanside. As far as Ki ho 'alu I am self taught and have been immersed in slack key for almost 8 years. I consider myself an intermediate player. I hope to see you at the open mike. Thanks for you response.

Justin, I'm sorry that I will miss seeing you as we will be in Japan then. However, Terry (chunky monkey), Mike (Mika ele) and Bill (bbenzel) should be there.

You may even see the likes of the elusive Keith (marzullo) and the even more elusive Rik (slkho). It's on Tuesday from 6pm until 9pm at Kaisens restaurant at 1906 Oceanside Blvd, a couple of blocks east of the 5 freeway.

Dusty
