Reminds me of talking to a friend of mine in the 70's when he was at the Apple start-up. I, coming straight from Intel, was jostling him. "Oh, for crying out loud, Frannie, can't you guys think of a better name than "Apple"! Who's going to buy an "Apple" for heaven's sake! Hahahaa....ha....
Sigh.... Julie |

Well, at least you didn't ignore a friend at Microsoft when he told you to buy the company's stock when it was at $20...several splits ago. (Or ignore your now ex-wife when she told you to sell your own company's stock at $78, shortly before it plummeted to $0.05.)
Don't ask me how I came up with these examples.

Hey Raymond,
Not so long ago, you were worried that you would not get enough submissions. By my count at this point you might get more than enough to fill an 80 minute disc. If you have overflow, and are willing to cut a second disc, I would gladly send you some more money to hear all the submitted material. It cost very little more to send 2 discs, and it would save you time not to have to evaluate which cuts to leave off if the first disc is full. Of course your burning time is doubled, but that is a brainless activity which can be done in the background. What do you think about this?

Right now after I listen to the submission I receive, I put it in a pile. I'll face this issue when I get around to transferring the stuff into my computer and figuring out what I have. Hopefully, I will not be in a grumpy mood at that time. Raymond |

quote: I think I will cut and paste everybody's text as they sent it to me, make up one Word document, add a simple table of contents at the top listing the songs in their order on the disk and perfoermer -- and email the document to each contributor. That way each of you can decide how much you want to print and save. Unless I hear an idea that seems more interesting, that's what I'll do.
Did you guys just want to post the information here online? People could then print it if they want it. Also, would be kind of nice for others who did not contribute to see what kind of things are going on here. It may be incentive for a second round at some future point.

Andy, I think that's a fine idea. It'll encourage others to contribute in the future.
Craig, I still would like the formatted physical form too, if you were still planning to do that(?)
