The Keauhou shopping center (south of Kona, big island) used to have a lot of things going on there every Friday. They had ukelele lessons, lei making and a fabulous free polynesian show in the evening. They have new management of the center now and they discontinued all this great stuff about a month ago. So sad. Thought this thread might save someone a trip down there and the disappointment we felt.
I don't know about the lei making or Polynesian show, but Uncle Willie's ukulele group and beginner lessons are now held at the same times (group/intermediate at 10 am, beginner's lesson at 11 am) on Fridays at the International Marketplace.
