I followed your thread on AG Forums, and can confirm that a Larrivee Parlor is short scale and works for slack key. I wrote "Waialua Slack Key" on mine, starting in the Oakland Airport and finishing in Waialua (where else <g>). If the darned thing had wide spacing at the bridge I wouldn't need all these other guitars (yeah, right).

I actually really like the old-fashioned, kind of boxy sound of this little guitar, and after a few days I remember how to stroke the bottom strings to get the bass to come out.
