On Friday, December 7th 2007 we welcome back the talented Makaha Sons and there special guest for this season is the incomparable Keali'i Reichel.
Performing this year with Makaha Sons are San Diego's finest Halau. In their 4th performance at the Hawaiian Christmas concert The Pualani Dancers, under the direction of Auntie Barbara Finneran; Taupou in their 2nd performance, under the direction of Kiki Sotoa-Solia; and in their 7th continuous and 10th performance with Makaha Sons are Halau o Na Ali'i.
We are pleased to tell you that our venue has changed to the beautiful and recently renovated Birch North Park Theatre. There is ample on street parking as well as nearby parking lots.
We will be having our variety of Christmas vendors, just in time for you to purchase that special gift. A fundraiser for our Hui o Hawaii of San Diego youth Hula group will also be taking place.
We are sponsoring our 5th raffle fundraiser for the Jonathan Tarr Foundation. The 1st place raffle prize is 2 round trip tickets to Hawaii and a weeks stay at the Weir Kailua Retreat. This drawing will have an abundance prizes. Tickets are available in advance for $5.00 each or $20.00 for 5.
The tickets are $45.00, $55.00, $65.00 and $85.00.
The $85.00 tickets include a pupu paina with the Makaha Sons before the concert.

I wish I could attend. It sounds like a great concert especially with the Makaha Sons and Keali'i Reichel on one stage.

Mahalo to everyone for coming and sharing this magical night. I have been doing this for 10 years now and the magic of Hawaiian music and dance still takes my breath away. For those of you that attended I hope you feel the same. Mahalo for making this SOLD OUT event possible, especially the mesmerizing Keali'i Reichel and the wonderfully talented Makaha Sons.
