I no can believe UH is 8-0 ... #14 in BCS, #12 in AP, #11 in USA Today, and #10 in da Harris polls! Wow no? No doubt, da best UH team in history!
Let's keep on cheering on Colt and da boyz fo win out. Dey still get Fresno, Nevada, Boise St, and Washington fo deal wit, but. All dey need is to stay undefeated and dea in! Wat a ride so far!
GO BOWS!

I read an article in ESPN the Magazine while sitting at the dentist a couple weeks ago. Seems Colt credits the Hawaiian style approach to life as the secret to his success and maturity. Really good article. He feels genuinely accepted there and plans to buy a home on the Islands as soon as he signs his big NFL contract.
They are a fun team to watch. I watched them play a few weeks back, can't remember who they were playing but were having a tough time - San Jose State? - but pulled it out in the last 1/4. That Boise St. game will be a barn-burner. |
What? You mean high "E" is the TOP string. No way dude! That changes everything! |

Aren't they now called The Warriors?
Incidentally, UCONN is right behind them in the polls.

You can call me Warriors or you can call me Rainbows or you can call me Rainbow Warriors etc. My understanding is they use all of the above. The basketball team uses one, the football team uses another and the volleyball team uses still another. All the names apply...but to which sport I can't recall who's who. Being a basketball fan, I'm pretty sure that team is called the Rainbow Warriors. |

I remember hearing da team got teased because of da Rainbow name. Had nothing to do with the fact that Greenpeace had (has?) a vessel called the "Rainbow Warrior." (Sorry, Pif.)
Now if da NCAA would only let dem do da haka, I would be happy. |
