Fairly new to TP...loving it! For one who has been finger picking a good while and with SOME slack key, what 3-5 songs would you suggest focusing on to get a good start? What tunings? Mahalo in advance. Aloha.

howzit bruddah? I just wen start slack key dis past summah. Wit no fingerpicking experience, I found Ozzie's book to be da best intro into da style. I tink he get 8 or 9 pieces in his book. Da first couple sound pretty simple, but so nahenahe. Da ones in da end only get bettah :-)

I tink Ozzie get one DVD too. With this info, I tink I get da book AND da video. Can read AND see dat way. And Ozzie one of da bes to get mana'o from, yea? Mahalo, brah, for taking da time to reply! |

ditto on the Ozzie stuff (stick with G taro patch tuning DGDGBD until you KNOW it) |
