Mahalo Nui Tony, that's just one of my aliases.
I lived in Moate and Athlone for most of my time in Ireland, primarily because it was the most central point and facilitated easy journeys to the relevant recording studios or gig venues..
Most people in Ireland didn't know of Basil Henriques EMI recording artist, I kept that quiet, that way the foreign royalties didn't attract too much attention.

In TR's band we had a young lad from Carlow on keyboards, (Padraig Whelan)and Eamon McRory of Two's Company is a good friend of mine as is of course Mary Darcy.

Hi Basil,
As I worked on the Late Late Show for nearly twenty yrs, I know most of the Irish artists you have worked with and I am sure our paths must have crossed. Senator Donie often spoke of you....
I wish you were living in Ireland now as I would be knocking on your door for UKE lessons
