Thought I'd spread the word about a couple of radio specials coming up on Seattle's "Hawai`i Radio Connection."
This Saturday, Jan. 5, we'll be reviewing some of the best Hawaiian recordings of 2007, as we count down the top ten list as chosen by the hosts of the radio shows.
In a couple of weeks, you can hear an interview I did late last year with Hawaiian music superstar Keali`i Reichel - it will air on Saturday, Jan. 19.
We do two shows every Saturday, both of which can be heard in the Seattle area:
8:00 - 9:00 am on KXPA-AM 1540
Noon - 2:00 pm on KBCS-FM 91.3
The KBCS show also streams live at http://kbcs.fm, so you can hear it outside the Seattle area (just remember the time differences where you are; the Reichel segment on 1/19 will air around 1:00 pm Pacific Time.)
Hope you'll tune in - and if you are in the region where the Northwest Hawai`i Times newspaper is distributed, you can also read a version of the Reichel interview in the January issue; it will be available on the website by mid-February.
