That's what I get for being late to watch it. When I sat down to watch, it was Christian guys. Dang. I didn't know Kenneth would be on. Now I am bummed. Thanks for sharing the You Tube link, Braddah Ed. I love that song. It is one of the most poetic. I love the part about the wind whispering down the Ko`olau. |

I just discovered (duhhhhh!) that youtube.com has a great "search" function -- and if you insert "Pakele Live" in it, up pops a whole bunch of videos of various performances there. Wowee-zoweee!!
Here's O'Brian Eselu doing the dreamy "Pua Ahihi": http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=GKAEZK8u3zM |

Neither did I, Wanda, and I guess it was because he actually appeared that night as a back-up musician for O'Brian Eselu.
Ken is pretty much a regular sideman for O'Brian whenever he performs live. So whenever you see O'Brian on the bill...

According to email I received this afternoon, the performance times for tonight's concert have changed.
Stephen Inglis - 6pm Aaron Sala - 7pm
And re: Ken Makuakane -- he's the producer for the soon-to-be-released new CD from O'Brian Eselu. Uiha!!! |

Might want to turn it on now....sound check was pretty sweet there for a minute or so. Of course they turn things on and off, play a little, talk a lot with plenty of dead air in between...it's fun though. |

Poor Aaron -- battling a lousy cold (and it sounds like Snowbird is, too!), but still hanging in there... |

Yes, they are real pros to be able to sound so good and in control while fighting being sick |
