As for music, http://www.honoluluweekly.com/calendar/gigs/ this website will give you all the gigs in town for that week. I also second Chai's Island Bistro at Aloha Tower Marketplace. Although pricey, they have amazing food and great music nightly. For authentic Hawaiian food, go to Helena's Hawaiian Foods on School Street - cheap and the BEST!!! Ono Hawaiian Food is good, too but there are always plenty tourists in there. Also go to Rainbow Drive-Inn and Roy's (good place for that anniversary dinner). There are tons of great places to eat in Waikiki and they are pricey. Don't do anything else in Waikiki though because it's a tourist trap. The best beach on Oahu in my opinion is Kailua/Lanikai. There are also many historical sites to visit - Bishop Museum, Iolani Palace, Pearl Harbor - just stop by one of the many libraries and look up places in the books there or online. I hope you enjoy your vacation and happy anniversary!!!
