That tennis elbow thing -- I started to get it and got connected to a body worker who does a lot of sports physiology. Turns out it wasn't my arm work, but my posture -- had to do some serious work to loosen the muscles throughout my torso, including the large ones which go down the leg and pull at the torso from down below. Even the first session made a huge difference. Now when I notice wrist or arm pain beginning, I check my posture, do some stretches and pay attention to how I'm holding my body and the pain goes away. An actual situation of pain being an indicator that something is going wrong, just as the textbooks say it does.
