I was just informed that one of the all time great Hawaiian voices has been called back to that great gig in the sky...
She definitely influenced a lot of us, and I know a lot of you will miss hearing her sing. Thank you Auntie for a truly great gift that you left for all of us.

Unfortunately, I had never gotten the chance to hear her perform live when I was in Hawai'i Nei in 2005 and 2007. However, listening to her music on CD is the next best thing.
