From Pakele Live, Jerry Santos, Hoku Zuttermeister and Barry Kimokeo

This song has probably some of the best guitar picking ever. Just remember, if you try to duplicate the sound, you'd better have a friend to help you out. One guy cannot do it. Barry sure helps nicely. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=FgraeK4M9a0

Come to Me Gently - my favorite of Jerry's mele. He sang it for me last year at Chai's. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Y81By6hezDM

My Yellow Ginger Lei -Oh, that Hoku can sing! http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=SlextMQSRDU

Nani - featuring Barry singing and playing that sweet guitar. See the resemblance to Led in style? http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=k4xrgWIiBq0

This is almost like being there. I am very grateful that they post the videos on You Tube. It is hard for an old broken down wahine like me to stay up way past my bedtime for watch it when they are playing live.

Oh Wanda Mahalo, I did not know about these. I just got to relive that evening and now can go back any time . It was so special. You even get to see Pren sitting still while I am clapping like usual to Kilakila Na Roughrider & Hawaiian Cowboy I can not wait to really sit down tonight and watch them all one after the other.
You have to be the most knowledgeable person about the NET and especially Hawaiian Music locations I have ever met!

Nani - cool to see you enjoying yourself! I'm glad the spirit moved you. One kolohe song, that Hawaiian Cowboy. That cowboy had them "lei's" on every island -- Roselani on Maui; Lehua on Big Island and 'Ilimia on O`ahu. That Roselani could grip with the legs and ride and post, and I do not think they are really talking about horses.

-What did you think of Barry Kimokeo? I think he is AMAZING! Matter of fact, he puts the zing in ama-zing.

PS: pretty cool they sang Nani -- just for you, I bet!

Yea I wish! No no one there knew me nice to keep a low profile I have tried to behave since camp! It was a magical evening. We were so happy to share it and thrilled it happened before we had to leave. Friday NOON we were at the Airport waiting for our plane home. But AHH the memories. Now if I can just get my self in gear and back to work so that I can justify going back on VACATION sometime soon.
