Steven Espaniola has scored original instrumental music for an upcoming documentary project titled "We Serve: The Legacy of the Hawai`i Lion's". The program will air statewide in Hawai`i on NBC affiliate KHNL-TV8, Sunday April 20 in primetime at 7:00PM. Most of the music is ki-ho`alu based and also features another fine player and good friend of Steven's, Kris Kanoho, on a few tracks. Narrated by KHNL News 8 anchor/reporter, Diane Ako, the program documents the incredible history of Lions volunteerism in Hawai`i. No plans to have the broadcast streamed or archived online at the moment but will definitely let the "Patch" know if that changes.
