That's great, T-Dan, glad to hear you'll be there Sunday too, since I won't be able to attend Saturday. Any ideas on what you're going to play? I think I heard you were playing at the San Dimas Ho'olaulea later this year, too.

Aloha e Mitch!
For my solo set I'll probably be doing some of my original compositions..A couple in taropatch, a couple in open-D, one or two in DADGAD, one or two in F-wahine and one or two in C-wahine...That should fill the half hour in the time it takes to change tunings alone! You're playing too?
Uncle Roddy is leading the O'ahu group and I'm doing guitar and harmony vocals with them, plus one of my vocal originals, at Cherry Blossom as well as the San Dimas Ho'olaulea. Good fun playing with them...

Very cool Dan. Very cool!!!! So your tunings will be high and inside, and low and away. Play good my friend.

It's great to have so many choices in Hawaiian music this weekend in SoCal....When it rains it pours, but it's all good....I hope I can get a free Sunday afternoon again soon and come back to Bob's for some jams...Was listening to Jeff Peterson's "Slack Key Jazz" in my office today and one of my co-workers heard and flipped over it! Spreading the slack-key word, one ear at a time....
