I am a designer of holding fixtures, inspection gages, and special task machinery for manufacturing. This happens to me too from time-to-time. Occationally someone will hint that I passed off a custom design that could have been purchased over the counter--cuz I was being soooo devious and sneaky. I NEVER do that but when it happens I take it as a sign that my ideas and ways of thinking are at least sound. I re-do the design to use the purchased item when I can. Since it costs me time and money to back up, I never forget where to find it the next time. :)
Plenty people can think of the same good ideas. |

| When Paul and I are watching a baseball game on TV, Paul always comments on the plays and then a couple of seconds or minutes later, the yammer-guys calling the game will say the same comment that Paul already said. I think the vibes are going through the ether. Also, Paul has been wearing Aloha shirts for many, many, many years. Before they were the in thing to wear. He's always ahead of the times. (Or maybe way, way, way behind the times like his mountain man rendezvous stuff.) |
