Aloha! I'm looking for a UKE player who plays tradition Hawaiian music.
Please go to my website to hear music and see my song list to see if you know a good amount of these songs, and/or are good at filling in as a quick study. The Hawaiian Wedding Song is a special request that we will play at this luau for the guest of honor.
The luau is a 70th birthday party for a woman who lived on Oahu for decades as a child. The planner's really wanted a 4-PIECE band and both of my ukulele players cannot make this gig, I have a wonderful steel guitar player, Bill Flores, and a bass player, Daniel Lower confirmed. I play guitar and sing in Hawaiian.
The event is at the Balboa Inn http://www.balboainn.com 105 Main Street, Newport Beach, CA 92661
The dinner hour is from 7-10pm, we will also have a hula dancer.
Feel free to call with questions.
Mahalo!
