Oh, yeah, at the Pua Pua store, they had plenty more reasonably priced. They also have used ones that the students use. What they have at the store ranges the gamut. They have plenty Fleas and Flukes. It is mostly the Hawaiian wall that costs plenty kala.
Ah, but the Hawaiian quilt throw on the sofa, with the `ukulele motif, now that was a thang of beauty. Only $580 or so, but genuine Hawaiian made, not "made in Phillipines" like almost everything we found for any kine souvenir. |

Bob is way expensive and I have found him not to be very customer oriented. Seems kinda grumpy to me. Maybe he doesn't like hillbilly lady coming in and fondling his `ukulele. But he sure does have a nice selection of nice instruments. |

You might try the flea market at the Aloha Stadium, they usually have some dude selling ukes there, dont know where they are made though, go figure....... |
