What happened May 4th 38 years ago? Sheesh -- I cannot believe it was 38 years ago. Seems like just yesterday.

Here are this week's You Tube gems.

We shall start off with our friend, Jesse Tinsley doing Ahulili. Jesse, Brah, you get better and better. I think this is the best vocal you have done thus far. It was about as perfect as you can get. Where da heck is the CD???? http://youtube.com/watch?v=Iy26_WnDpeM Sounds like you have two guitars playing.

Peter Moon – Maori Brown Eyes - http://youtube.com/watch?v=UFTRNksB8tI
Peter Moon Band – Cheri - http://youtube.com/watch?v=-X2k2edQsH4

Cindy Combs – Koke`e - http://youtube.com/watch?v=J29Lgxp-C4c
Summer Rain - http://youtube.com/watch?v=HpqEiyygqbU
Ka Nani o Koke`e - http://youtube.com/watch?v=HCfeYqBMSPM
All from the Na Leo concert April 26.

Sol K. Bright – Hawaiian Cowboy – 1986 HSGA Convention -- http://youtube.com/watch?v=ALPEfZV-B9s

Andy Cummings’ Waikiki by Keahi Conjugacion and Pikake - 4/26/08 – As great as Keahi’s vocals are, the hula is superb. -- http://youtube.com/watch?v=XcoN38ASayk

Del Beazley with Dwight Kanae and Kimo Bell – Pakele Live - It is like having a private concert. I have posted the query instead of individual URLs.

Wahine Poupou
Sassafrass
Rise Up and Follow Me
Night and Day
Ni`ihau Church Song
Brown Man Blues
Ke `Oni Nei ka Huila
True Blue Kua`aina
Mele Au Kalono Nani
Kalama ai One
And for Momi – Kaneohe. He sounds so much like Uncle Moe on this song. Matter of fact, his voice timbre, pitch, resonance, sounds like so many members of the `ohana Keale. Is he related?

Abrigo `ohana on Night Time with Andy Bumatai – Ahulili – And remember, just a couple of weeks ago I said that I wondered why they had not yet been on Night Time with Andy Bumatai. They musta been listening to Auntie Wanda. Also turns out they have a my space page, where Timmy said he recorded all the songs.

Peter Delapinia plays the Mele double-neck Tenor Uke – on Maui – sounds so very nice. Pretty cool `ukulele. - http://youtube.com/watch?v=Vxh03Wg-fLE

George Board – Steel Guitar - http://youtube.com/watch?v=7Ktu7l9SQmo

Fender Hawaiian Steel guitar - "Sand" played by Isaac Akuna -- http://youtube.com/watch?v=UhwVEHesI6s

Del's song "True Blue Kua'aina" is a great song. He has great stage presence and plays so effortlessly, as does Dwight Kanae. Beautiful.

Jesse, you rock. I'd love to hear you and No`eau do Ahulili together. I went back to listen to your You Tube version of Paliakamoa too - fabulous.
