Aloha! I wanted to thank you all for everything. For your support and kindness. Im doing well and have regained alot since my stroke. My wife and I now live back home in Maui and have future plans to do another album with my cousin as a duo, but not just yet. My family here in Maui have been very helpful and full of support for me. I am however fighting for our family lands (Kuleana) in Hana and Ukumehame, and its been a wild ride...very different from music but worth the fight. I just wanted to say thank you for everything, for all your support...

Aloha to you Keali`i. Glad to hear you have been making progress in your recuperation from the stroke. And how fortunate you are to have `ohana that support you through the tough times. I wish you luck and success in your battle for your kuleana. Try watch this, Voices of Truth from the Koani Foundation. http://youtube.com/watch?v=6WrQ3QytgBE about fighting for kuleana lands. |

Kealii!
I'm very pleased to hear about your recovery. A friend of mine had a stroke as well, within a couple of days of you having one. She too is making a good recovery, and although she's lost some function in her fingerpicking hand, she's re-learning on guitar! I'm really happy for you that you're continuing with the music, - it is excellent therapy - and I look forward to hearing the new record with your cousin.

Aloha Keali'i!
So glad to see you back on the board. I don't know if you remember me. I'm Alana from Ewa Beach, Hawai'i and we talked a few times on the phone. I been trying to get in contact with you because I can't get a hold of you since you changed your number. Plese email me when you have a chance I would like to hear from you again with your new telephone number because I would like to hear your voice again. I am so glad to hear that you are doing well and on your way to recovery after your stroke. I still listen to your CD's. I have to say that you keep on doing whatever it takes to fight for your family lands. Mahalo nui loa!
