Just wondering if anyone out there has had the opportunity to strum a
Koaloha Sceptre. This is the second of A.Okami's special ukulele.
And how would you put a pick-up on one of these?

Genaro

Should I? Itʻs only $, and where Iʻm going itʻll burn or melt.

I played the ORIGINAL last May (while it was still under wraps and unfinished). Pops had little pencil lines on it thinking of new ways to build and shape. He didn't like any of his modifications and went back to the original for the final. There was talk of two sizes, Concert and Tenor. You should ask "KoAloha" (Paul Okami) to chime in here.

I was very surprised with the complex overtones that came out of that ukulele. Something about the shape. The volume is as loud as the Pineapple Sunday. The best part about the Sceptre is the story of its design. Wander over to the factory and get Pops Okami to talk story. You will need to sit a spell. Chicken Skin time.
