Here are some pics on You Tube of this year's festivities. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=l-akNLMc7Xg&eurl=http://www.youtube.com/user/tafkam1
Who of our TP `ohana can be seen in these shots? If you spot someone, please note what time on the video so I can go look see some of the people for whom I have only seen their names. I like to put faces with the names.
Looks like this is really a fun time! http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=l-akNLMc7Xg&eurl=http://www.youtube.com/user/tafkam1 |

Thanks, T-Dan! I thought that was Pua Kai but not for certain. Is slkho (Rik) in any of the pics?
And of course Petah-Boy, too, I recognized. Did Makana and Bobby Moderow sing together? If so, that woulda had to have been chicken skin. I gotta tell you, John Keawe one handsome man. Maybe dat CUTE Ocean Kaowili get replaced, ah dunno. Nah, nah. I get my own man wit da beard. |

In the same shot, at 2:55 is Jerry Sullivan (jlsulle) just to the left of Cyril (black t-shirt with yellow figures). |

The closeup of Makana and Bobby at 0:41 is right before their lips touched...accidentally(?)...That was from the Saturday night reception where Makana was singing "Ku'u Lei Awapuhi" (I think) when Bobby came up and shared the mic on a chorus and then surprised Makana (an' everyone else) with a kiss...
I didn't see Rik at the reception, and I cannot see him in any of the pix, but his ipu's show up on the fringes of some shots as his handcrafted gourds flanked the stage both left and right.
@ 0:48 I'm down in the lefthand side sitting down with a blue sketchbook in my lap... |
