Does anyone know of any published sources for various songs with the chord progressions Lake uses? That is, any published transcriptions, notations that are accurate to his use of chords? Thanks much.

You might get an answer from the good folks at Hula Records, via their website:

raymond, another path to try is via dan sythe. the people at the whalesong project must know how to contact him. i recall at one kanikapila in waihe`e he gave me a long lecture about how he had obtained the correct chord sequence for Pua Lilihua.

aloha,
keith

Bobo/Kalae Miles uses original song sheets from Uncle K in his workshops. He has taught "Pua Lililehua", "Kawena" and "Ka'ahumanu" in a workshop I attended.

Doesn't Kahauanu teach 'ukulele in Palolo Valley at Aliiolani after hours once or twice a month?

Look for reasons to be happy rather than excuses to be miserable.
