Kahilu Theatre (Waimea, Hawai`i Island) has posted their 2008-2009 concert schedule -- the uke & ki ho`alu masters have two concerts this season:
Fri Nov 7 - The Pahinui `ohana, plus Peter Moon, Jr.
Sat Nov 8 - Hapa & Richard Ho`opi`i
Nothing posted to the site about the workshops...yet.
2009 brings Jake Shimabukuro (Fri Feb 6) and Brothers Cazimero (Sat Jun 6). Details here:

Auntie:
I hope they have workshops this year.
I have already booked airfare and lodging.
We are going to be on Oahu for one week prior,
then we are on the Big Island for two weeks.
If no workshop, I guess I will be going up and down
hwy 19 looking for someone to teach me the
ukulele or slack key guitar.
I guess I could look up Uncle Dave or Uncle Don.

There is a link on the very bottom of the page:
Upcoming ukulele and slack key guitar institute.
That will download a pdf file of the workshops.

Hi Les,
I'll be at the Kahilu Theatre on Thursday, Nov 6 and Fri, Nov 7. Pops Cyril Pahinui invited me. I'll be hanging out at the Music Exchange (across from Kahilu Theatre) where I also give lessons. Music Exchange is my sponsor as well. Jay Junken has me scheduled on Thursday morning for the public school students, and then on Friday night concert, then I'll be at the Saturday lessons with Cyril, Jeff and Dennis.
Should be fun.

Hi Uncle Don:
I have been wanting to attend DA SLACK KEY ACADEMY,
but I am on Oahu 11/1 for our nieces' 7th birthday.
We arrive on the Big Island 11/6 at around noon.
My wife and I will come check out the Kanikapila
at the Kahilu Theatre at 7pm
I am trying to decide which workshops to attend.
