just a reminder to all my friends that I will be on vacation starting Nov 4th. Perfect day to get out of town. (election day).....Will report on day to day basis on my adventures.

| There is absolutely no way I'm voting for Obama. We don't need his kind of change. If you want to pay more in taxes, see higher unemployment because business can't afford to hirer anyone, more government control in you life - go right ahead and vote for him. We don't need someone who'll take my hard earned money and give it to someone who doesn't want to work. That's socialism (Marxism) and we definitely do not need that. |

| My two cents. We all gotta pay our fair share of taxes and the fairly well off have been skating with loop holes and Bushes tax cuts for his specific income group. The Wall street bailout is more of a gov't sponsored act than anything Obama could come up with. No where is there any plan to put people on the dole with tax money. So people should stop spreading misinformation based on fear lies and ignorance. everyone is free to vote for whom everthey wish but they should do so from intelligent research of a person's record. The Republican candidate has waffled so much from pressures put on by special interest groups that I feel he can not be trusted. And I really think that the governor from Alaska is completely unqualified for the office that she is now running for. I think that if the Republican gets elected there will be just more of the policy that has now put the financial condition of this country in the mess it is in. People should realize the fact that Marxism is not necessarily the same as socialism. There are many forms don't forget that nazi Germany was ruled by the Socialist Democratic Party. Fascism is a form of socialism that benefits the wealthy ruling class and it came about to allay the fear and embarrassment that Germany experienced after WWI. Sounds famiiar doesn't it? Vote wisely, the country's future direction depends on it. Besides the phrase that the republicans are attempting to redefine as socialism is inaccurate and basicaly shows their disdain for the people. How dare they think that we are so stupid as to accept their ideas wholesale without some intelligent consideration of what they are trying to shove down our throats. How can they make such dire predictions for the country when the reality is that they have already placed this country in a position of ridicule and disrespect. They group that screwed it up should not be allowed to continue in power because they will only do more of the same. They can not be trusted to follow the idea that if they broke it they should fix it since they are constitutionally incapale of doing that. |
