I like snow better than ice. Everything seems to be covered in a layer of slick ice this morning.

Speaking of which. Todays Seattle Times on line has photos of Obama. Eating shave ice and body surfing (not at the same time). I bet he da only big guy that body surfs. Maybe we can get him interested in slack key guitar?

Beautiful dog, Lee. Is he/she a shiba inu?

More snow this morning, although it's pretty wet snow. Temps are finally above freezing, so who knows when it'll turn to rain. More precip is expected tonight.

Wishing everyone a warm, cozy, music-filled holiday.

Should be warmer on Christmas, and in the 40s by Monday. Watch out for flooding!
Monday, I get jury duty! I'm bringing a few snacks and a couple of books. I'm certain that they don't want guitars or ukuleles in the waiting area. :-(

Better ask on your first day. Once they hear you, they might say "oh, please, YES!"

I'm bound to go Monday and Tuesday. I'll ask for real. At least then the good folks at King County Courthouse will have a better idea of theeir jury pool.

I snapped this photo today in Spokane, Washington.
Someone had written in the snow piled on an outdoor table at the courthouse "I Hate Snow".

Oh, Nancy. The views of snow you have are WAY mo bettah. How was the wedding? Tell us about your adventures. Braddah Menpachi was complaining about the weather being bad and not so much fishing. He is Hilo side, I think.
