Email from Milton Lau -- aloha `oe to our festival????

Just wanted to give you as heads up on the upcoming 16th Annual Hawaiian Slack Key Guitar Festival which is scheduled for Sunday, November 16th from 12:00 Noon to 6:00 PM at the Hilton Kauai Beach
Resort & Spa. The Festival is free to everyone! Performers in this year's festival include the following artists:

John Cruz
Makana
Brother Noland
Dennis Kamakahi
Michael Kaawa
LT Smooth
Walter Keale
David Kahiapo
Stephen Inglis
Paul Togioka
Donald Kaulia
George Kuo
Danny Carvalho
Cindy Combs
Other special guests

This may be the last year for the festival on Kauai as funding for next year won't be available. So, unless I'm able to pull a rabbit out of a hat, this may be the finale for the Kauai Festival.

My oh my! Is that nirvana or what? I am glad to see Uncle Dennis is feeling well enough and confident in his blood sugar control to go holoholo. Awrite!

Man, every one of those folks, I would give my left eye-teeth to see. No, wait a minute, I just bought the teeth. Forget that, but I would love to be able to see them. And Paul Togioka -- we have a recording of him playing Holule`a slack key style and it is great. Every time I hear it it reminds me of Braddah Jay, he's my happy star!

There's got to be some rabbits around, Auntie Maria. If I can help look for rabbits let me know. I know a bit about governmenet grants and such.

Enjoy all you lucky folks!

Me ke aloha
Malama pono,
Wanda
