A while back thought I read that Keola Beamer had been commisioned to write some music. Does anyone know what came of it?

I recently saw in the arts section of a HNL paper [Advertiser I think] mention of a play or similar [don't think it was a film] with music composed by Keola Beamer. We were running all over O`ahu dealing with family matters so the details have slipped my mind.
