Record labels are rushing out new releases, to meet the December 31 deadline for the 2009 Na Hoku Hanohano Awards consideration -- so here's what has been announced so far. Stay tuned!

| Auntie Marie - do you have any advance publicity or anything further about the Unforgettable? Like what songs, how many, is it a collection of discs? How I would love to be able to buy a boxed set of everything they did together. |

For information about all the new releases from the past 3 months -- including their playists -- click the "New Release" button on the MELE.COM front page.
As soon as a demo CD is made available, short MP3 sound clips are added to each album.
Click "Notes" on any item, to read details about it.

Ooops...sorry, forgot to answer one of your questions, Wanda.
Regarding "Unforgettable" -- this is an anthology CD (just one CD)...with tracks taken from prior recordings, both by Makaha Sons of Ni`ihau, and Israel's debut solo CD, "Ka`ano`i".
But there's a twist -- some tracks have been re-mixed, and one track is a never-before released track of Israel singing "Paper Doll". Can't wait to hear that one! |

Had a pleasant surprise while doing my radio show Wednesday, when Leilani Rivera Bond and hubby dropped into the station -- to give me her brand new CD (they'd just gotten delivery Tuesday). Shoots, I didn't even know one was coming! IMHO, this is her best release...with guest musicians including Holunape, Zanuck Lindsey and more.
