Aloha Kakou,

Kimo & I are very, very excited!
We have had a wonderful response to our new CD "Pono"
from many strangers, friends & Ohana.

We put a big artistic and production effort into making sure everything was pono before releasing it.

As a result...WOW!
Many new performance venues have opened up for us in New York State because of it.
And many people introduced to the Hawaiian Culture!

I will put information about our upcoming concert on Kaua'i under "performances".

Mahalo nui loa for your many good wishes...
Me Ke Aloha,
Ka'iulani

Aloha Lani,

Mahalo nui loa for your kind words.

Kimo & I are looking forward to July 29 in Princeville.
Please stay for the wine and cheese reception after
so that we can meet!

So sorry it took a few days to respond.
We had a concert in Albany, NY on Friday night.
The organizers were expecting about 125 people...
but...225 people showed up for our performance!
It was a very special evening for Kimo and me.

A Hui Hou (in Kaua'i)...
Me Ke Aloha,

Aloha Kakou,
We are truly blessed to have our Hawaiian brother Malani B. on this Island of Kaua'i which we call...home.
He promotes our CD when we perform with him 4 nights a week.
Another dear...dear friend, Darryl is also so supportive!
We have sold so many of our "Pono" CDs during our perfomances that we had to order more to be shipped here for our concert on July 29 in Princeville.

Mahalo nui loa for your support at Taropatch...

Aloha Kakou,

After spending 6 incredible weeks on Kaua'i this summer...Kimo & I are ready to go back into the recording studio. Kimo & I have 7 new originals that we composed on Kaua'i. We have several special new friends (ohana) who inspired and nurtured our creativity...including Uncle Roland Cazimero, John Cruz, Uncle Kenneth Makuakane, Charles Brotman and as always...our dear friends Malani Bilyeu & John Keawe. We were immersed in the Kaua'i Music Festival! What an incredible 4 days! Kimo & I are now planning our "Kimo & Ka'iulani Hawai'i Concert Tour 2009" for June 26-August 11, 2009. The bookings are starting to come in. For more information on our tours both 2008 & 2009 go to:

Also check out the new items on www.GalleryKauai.com

We hope to have our next CD ready for the Holidays 2008...if not, then by May 2009.

As always...

Aloha Kumu Ka'iu,
We are looking forward to Summer 2009 and your next CD.
I have heard a rumor about a beautiful (soulful) song you wrote. It is about a spirit you encountered while on Kaua'i.
Can't wait to hear it!! I can't wait to talk story with you again.
Please say ALOHA to Kimo and keep us posted!
MAHALO!!
Lani B.

Aloha Kakou,
With our first real snow of the season in Rochester NY, my thoughts drift longingly to Hawai'i.
Kimo & I are preparing our next CD. It will be released Spring 2009. And yes, we have several new originals (and as mentioned by Lani B.), a mele about our spiritual encounter on Kaua'i. Our Kimo & Ka'iulani 2009 Summer Tour is filling up. It now includes: the Kaua'i Music Festival in July and also our concert at the Kaua'i Museum in August. Kimo & I have been asked to be instructors & performers at the KMF. We are so excited to share with the participants who are now our Kaua'i Music Festival ohana! KMF website is in the process of being updated for July 2009.
The Kaua'i Museum's annual newsletter was just updated. The curator included us in it with a photo and said, "Kimo and Ka'iulani provide a haunting performance." (August 2008). We certainly felt appreciated and the museum was full of people & Aloha.

Our Hawai'i trip is scheduled for June 26 - August 11, 2009.

Stay warm and safe during the Holiday Season.
