Hi Dave,
I'm planning to attend. Please save a spot for me if I get stuck in traffic like last time. This open mic should be a real fun one with lots of Christmas and Hawaiian music. Spread the word and I hope to see some new faces.
To clarify, we perform in the lounge area where there are lots of seats and tables, plus a good sized wooden dance floor in front of the stage that's perfect for hula. The bar is set off away from the lounge area but close enough to easily get a drink .
Aloha,
Doug |

But Julie, the coffee house has had wine and beer for quite a while now. In, fact this is what caused the Hawaiian Music night schedule change, the wine and beer license caused a "review" by the city government, which then forced the schedule change.
You see, they were thinking of you all along!

Hi Lawrence,
How sweet that they thought of me!
Well, I have not been there for some time, and while I thought I would enjoy that wine after a hard day's work, I was never completely sure that serving wine at a Coffee House so near the University was a good idea. I mean, we had to go for miles to get beer when I was in college.
Anyway, it was nice that they thought of me, but too bad it triggered review and changes. Are you going Thursday?
hugs, Julie |

Planning on it, but it depends a little upon current Company emergencies.
Haven't been able to practice as much as usual so the presentation may be a little rough.
At this new place we know they have wine and beer, but do they have food too?
Otherwise Julie, you may get the wine without the dinner rather than the dinner without the wine.

I will not be able to make this as I have been scheduled to work an evening shift. But I do want to wish all Happy Holidays and hope to see you folks in the New Year.

Art,
Mahalo for the nice words. I can't agree more. The turn out and music was wonderful.
I know the 4th Street Bowl is a little on the funky side, but the Aloha overcomes that. I'll keep my eyes open for another venue.
I want to thank Gary for his first time performance. Wow! Where have you been hiding?
Merry Christmas to all.
