This annual months-long event is starting year 26...and is a Kaua`i treasure. Free, weekly kanikapila sessions with some of this state's top musicians -- every Monday night (6-9pm) at Island School in Puhi. Donations are welcome at the door -- and be sure to pick up a new t-shirt there, too. So bring your uke or guitar, and come kanikapila! Here's the 2009 schedule:
Every Monday night, 6pm to 9pm, from Jan 19 thru March 30, 2008 in the cafeteria at Island School in Puhi (behind Kaua`i Community College). Here's this year's schedule:
