I seem to recall an occasional Kanikapila in this part of the state.

If not, is anyone interested in getting some "slackers" together (hoping there are a few) and playing a bit o' slack key sometime? I'm located between Portland and Eugene.

Don't see any posts from this area, but it doesn't hurt to ask, yes?

You need to contact Maggie Matoba, who lurks around the list. I can't remember her handle here, but she, under the auspices of the Eugene Ukulele Society, throws a fine Kane once a month. I played at one last spring.

Maggie's group is jamming this Friday, 7:00pm at the Our Saviour Lutheran Church on Coburg Rd in Eugene. Lots of ukes there so your guitar would be a welcomed addition. Maggies contact is.........
