I am trying to start a ukulele group called the Kentuckiana Ukes. This would be a "come and strum" group for all ages and levels. Right now I am waiting on confirmation about meeting at a music store in Clarksville, IN. Please contact Lindsey at KentuckianaUkes @ yahoo.com if you are interested in joining.

Am I the only one who sees humor in the fact that a group called Kentuckiana, dedicated to playing a Hawaiian instrument, is meeting in Indiana?!

My goal is to be able to play as well as people think I can.

No. I found it amusing, as well. That Ohio River just gets in the way of everything.

Hawaiian music must be coming to the hills. I saw under performance announcements that George Kahumoku and Dennis Kamakahi may be going to Charleston, WV (tentative). Yee-ha! We could drive straight down I-77 and stay at my sister's house.
