What do The Stooges (as in Iggy Pop) and Slack Key have in common? James Williamson, guitarist for the band, has taken up Slack Key according to an article in the current issue of The Fretboard Journal.

| Only Stooges I know are Larry, Curly. Moe, Shemp, Curly Joe and I think there was some other guy at one time or another. Nyuk-nyuk. |

Asheton actually played bass in a band with Williamson prior to the Stooges, which led to Asheton recruiting him for the Stooges after their second album (at which point Asheton moved to bass). |
